zuko sketch

going to scrap this eventually after i play around with it....what is zuko doing? why does he have his short haircut? why is he shirtless? who knows?

i did this while feeling giddy the night before Bryan Konietzko, one of the creators of Avatar, came to give a lecture at my college (the Avatar guys are alumni of the art school i go to, RISD). i went to the last lecture he gave about two and a half years ago when i was a freshman, and i took all these photos (somewhat illegally) of his powerpoint presentation, and then my camera got stolen after one of my final crits, before i had a chance to upload anything. karma? divine punishment?

i recounted that story to him and he sympathized and then drew part of zuko's face on my sketchbook cover before he signed it.


PS. i neither have nor can draw abs so just....ignore them >_>
