well, with a week left before my glorious last year of high school begins (said in sarcastic tone), i decided to dust off my sketchbook plus i didn't feel like studying for my SAT2s >_> anyway, this is my first submit-worthy piece of non-copyart fanart in a long time! it didn't turn out to badly, seeing as i've never drawn neji before (except once in the margin of my gov notes) and that this is an original pose and whatnot. screenshot references were used for the face and clothes, and my bedroom mirror for the pose -__-;; i'm going to color it in oC tomorrow if i have enough time. oh yeah, i suck at folds. yeah. i might submit the really sketchy sketch to my scraps tomorrow too....
EDIT: added in left shin and foot, whoops
Medium: mechanical pencils, hb 0.5 and 0.7 lead
Time: sketch 30 minutes or so, cleaning up 1 hour or so
hyuuga neji and naruto copyright kishimoto masashi and shueisha inc. picture copyright me.
thanks! for the fav too i've always wanted to go to one of those conventions and cosplay, but the closest one was fanimecon last may and i had to study for finals, SATs, and APs and at the same time, cosplay scares me...
ah, I see... lol. well, that certainly does suck...
heh, I actually just cosplayed for the first time this summer, so my Neji costume was the first one that I've ever made. lol. it was fun... but the sandals caused some nasty blisters x.x (and I'm sure you loved hearing that... lol)
Wow. I'm very impressed! You make Neji look really good! All of the detail in his hands, and the intensity of his face... I'd love to see this inked and colored someday. ^_^
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
